The Clothed in Light series consists of over 100 images created by James Abbott between 1993 and 2004, after he was inspired by the Cuerpos Pintados exhibit in Santiago, Chile in 1992.  Abbott made the series by "clothing" his models in his darkened studio with the only light in the room.  He used an analog slide projector to  project his colorful and graphically strong images on their bare skin, resulting in the primitive and sensual images seen on this site.
